Corsica GR20 Trek
To trek the infamous Corsican Grande Randonee 20 {GR 20}. The hardest of the French long distance trails, and almost certainly the most famous and most scenic.
Our trek will complete the northern and most difficult section of the GR20. Starting in Calenzana near Calvi in the north, finishing in 'Castel di Verghio' near Ajaccio 'the capital' in the South.
6 days of fantastic trekking over dramatic peaks and through stunning passes, trekking up to 7 hours a day and up to heights of over 2200 metres.
Accommodation will be in basic Alpine huts using freeze dried meals and local produce during the trek.
Participants need to be both fit and mentally robust to succeed in this challenge, but a good head for heights and determination will see most people through.
