The 5 Peaks Challenge is a very demanding test of strength, stamina and determination, and a worthwhile alternative to the National 3 peaks. To climb the 5 tallest peaks in Scotland, England, Wales Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland in 5 days is a fantastic adventure that will bring lasting memories to treasure for all who attempt it.
The challenge will see successful participants climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, Snowdon and Slieve Donnard in Northern Ireland and Carrauntoohil in the Republic of Ireland all inside 5 long and exciting days. (not including travel)
This challenge is suitable for regular hill walkers with an average fitness level, and is well within the possibilities of most. Although the challenge is demanding and arduous there will be plenty of time for rest and recuperation as we are only climbing one peak per day.
This is an ideal opportunity to discover the grandest peaks in the British Isles and the Republic of Ireland at a relatively leisurely pace, this will allow for a far greater mountain experience and one that should be on the tick list of all keen hill walkers and outdoor lovers of all ages and abilities.

Day 1 - meet Chester 9am drive and climb Snowdon 11am-3pm and drive to Scafell area tbc arriving 8pm overnight hotel
Day 2 - 8am -1230pm climb Scafell Pike and drive to Fort William arriving 7:30pm overnight hotel
Day 3 - climb Ben Nevis 8am- 2pm drive Stranraer arriving 7:30pm catch evening ferry 8pm arrive Belfast 10pm overnight hotel.
Day 4 - Drive Newcastle climb Slieve Donnard 10:30am - 2:30pm - drive Killarney arriving 8:30pm overnight hotel
Day 5 - 8:30am 1:30pm climb Carrauntoohill drive Dublin arriving 7:30pm overnight hotel (party)
Day 6 ferry Dublin to Holyhead - Chester
This programme is subject to interest as it is a very demanding challenge albeit achievable for anyone with reasonable fitness in 5 days.
The cost for this guided challenge will be £1000 which will include all travel, ferries, hotels and guiding. Participants only have to buy hill food and evening meals.
