If you have enjoyed the classic mountain routes up England's many summits and now wish to summit those same peaks via the more interesting and challenging routes, then Imp Adventures can help you achieve your dreams.
Scrambling is the mid ground between trekking and climbing, and opens up a whole new myriad of interesting and challenging routes up both rock ridges and summits for the sure footed hill walker with a good head for heights and a basic knowledge of simple skills and techniques.
Your weekend will allow you to learn those basic skills and techniques whilst progressing with your scrambling skills. Over the course of two days you will cover plenty of graded ground and discover some of Cumbria's hidden secrets. If you want to share a quality mountain experience either with friends or like-minded individuals then this weekend of scrambling is for you.
You do not need any special skills to complete this activity just a head for heights, moderate fitness and a love of the hills.

Itinerary
- Day 1 – Arrive in Lake District, meet at bunkhouse with full challenge briefing prior to evening meal in local establishment.
- Day 2 – A full days scrambling on grade 1 routes, evening meal in local guesthouse.
- Day 3 – A full days scrambling on grade 1-2 routes followed by departure late afternoon.
Whats Included
- Professional Leadership by an experienced and qualified Mountain Leader whom is a current mountain first aider and familiar with the Lake District National park.
- Transport from Manchester if required and throughout trip
Two nights quality bunkhouse accommodation including breakfasts

Other Information
Accommodation
Accommodation will be in a quality bunkhouse in the Ambleside area with breakfasts included. Lunch items can be purchased at local supermarket and prepared in the bunkhouse.
Equipment
Normal summer hill walking clothing and equipment will be required as per the kit list on Imp Adventures website. In addition a helmet and harness will be required. (these can be hired if required)
Transport
Transport around the National Park will be by private vehicle. Participants are to make their own way to the designated bunkhouse
