The Yorkshire 3 Peaks are the summits of Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-Ghent. Starting in the small village of Horton in Ribblesdale you will have 12 hours to complete the classic 39km route gaining over 1700m of ascent in the process.

Starting in the small village of Horton in Ribblesdale you will have 12 hours to complete the classic 39km route gaining over 1700m of ascent in the process. Successful completion will entitle you to join the Yorkshire 3 Peaks club and receive a certificate and other popular mementos.
The challenge is not particularly hard but it does require a good level of fitness and a desire to succeed.
To complete the challenge in 12 hours is a notable achievement, but to complete the challenge in one day will bring equal satisfaction and also reward the successful participant with a great day out in the beautiful Yorkshire dales.

Itinerary
- Day 1 – Arrive in Horton in Ribblesdale Friday evening 2100hrs, briefing and kit check, overnight in bunkhouse.
- Day 2 – Breakfast at 0700. Start challenge at 0800, hopefully finish at 1930. Debrief and celebration drink and meal in bar in evening. Overnight in bunkhouse.
- Day 3 – 0800 Breakfast followed by departure.
Whats Included
- Professional Leadership by an experienced and qualified Leader whom is a current mountain first aider.
- Quality Bunkhouse accommodation including breakfast on the evening prior to the challenge, and after the challenge if required.

Other Information
Accommodation
A quality bunkhouse in Horton will be used which is co-located with a guesthouse, which serves good quality food. A sleeping bag and towel will be required.
Equipment
Normal summer hill walking clothing and equipment will be required as per the website 'kit list'.
Transport
Participants are required to rendezvous at the nominated place in Horton at the start of the challenge. A dedicated support vehicle and driver will be available throughout the challenge..
